I am so excited to be going home…TOMORROW!!! Yet, it is hard to leave behind this world that has become my life. My room is so empty and bare, like day I arrived. The kids have asked me multiple times today if I am going to my home on a big airplane and when I am coming back. (Try explaining the visa process to a 5 year old haha).My bags are packed and I’m ready to go yet, this still feels so surreal.

My countdown clock announces that I have 17 hours left, I have tried to squeeze as many hugs and kisses into this remaining time, and my heart sinks a little everything I hear the kids say I will miss you, cos I know how much I will miss them.But tomorrow (and the next day) hold many great adventures for me, starting with goodbyes, then Germany (and meeting Nina’s family and friends and seeing Sophie) then Johannesburg (with Karabo) and finally my FAMILY!!!!
2 ½ years and I get to hug each of them. (Except Rayson who is enjoying exploring Malaysia and Thailand with my granparents aboard Katrine...lucky fish!) I truly cannot wait! Christmas in South Africa, with sunshine, families...and monkeys (yes, I actually kinda miss the furry creatures).
Wish me luck … on my next adventure …
